TimeZone for WhatsApp ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that displays the country, flag, and local time of your WhatsApp Web contacts.

1. DATA COLLECTION
The Extension does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. No information is sent to any external server.

2. HOW THE EXTENSION WORKS
The Extension reads contact information exclusively from WhatsApp Web's local IndexedDB database already stored on your own device. This data never leaves your browser. The Extension also stores your display preferences (e.g. clock format) locally using chrome.storage, which remains on your device only.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Extension makes no network requests and does not communicate with any third-party service, analytics platform, or remote server.

4. PERMISSIONS USED
- host permission for web.whatsapp.com: required to inject the timezone bar into WhatsApp Web.
- storage: required to save your local preferences (e.g. clock format setting).

5. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. There is no data to share.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
