I spoke very much from my own experience as a newcomer: the attitude is a large part of why I have walked away in the past. It sounds as though I am not alone in that. My goal was to provide hopefully helpful data. I don't think that needs to be a hostile take. It certainly wasn't meant that way. If open discussion of perceived problems is not allowed, or if I overstepped a community boundary, my apologies. I think discussing barriers to Nim's adoption is necessary if adoption is to increase. If some parts of that are taboo, I think that's unfortunate.
