In reply to @ryano3797 "No, the docs are": re: `pinToCPU` - i _very much_ appreciate "you shouldn't use this proc if you don't know what this means" in documentation, since it's directly telling you that you shouldn't be touching it unless you know what you're doing, and steer people off who _think_ that's what they want to use, but in reality, it's not. and i personally think library documentation should be educating the user on general computer science stuff but rather be terse enough so that people who _do_ need to use it can find it and use it successfully. "Instead, the assumption here seems like if the user doesn't already know what this does, they're probably too stupid to understand it and just shouldn't." - for the most part, that's exactly right, you _shouldn't_ be pinning threads to CPUs unless you understand the implications, but "too stupid" is definitely something that you seemed to add yourself. to me, it reads nothing like that
