PRIVACY POLICY FOR FORMIVA DOCUMENT MAKER

Abwine LTD ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Formiva Document Maker Android application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is processed and stored, when it may leave your device, and the choices available to you.

INFORMATION WE HANDLE

Information you provide

The App processes the document information that you choose to create, enter, import, or receive. This may include document titles and body text; text imported from a user-selected text or Markdown file; text pasted from the Android clipboard; and text sent to the App through Android's Share or Process Text actions.

Depending on what you choose to include in a document, this content may contain names, contact details, identification information, employment or financial information, or other personal or sensitive information. Formiva Document Maker does not require any of these categories of information. You decide what to enter or import.

You may also select an image, such as a photo, logo, illustration, or stamp, and you may draw a handwritten signature inside the App. A copy of a selected image and each saved signature image is stored in the App's private local storage so it can be included in your document and exported PDF.

Formiva Document Maker does not offer account creation or sign-in and does not request a profile, password, payment information, or subscription information.

Information generated by the App

To provide its document-library and editing functions, the App creates and stores local document metadata. This includes creation, update, and last-opened times; favorite status; the selected template; formatting and page-layout settings; local file references for an image or signature; and document revision history. The App retains up to 20 revision records for each document and removes older revision records as newer ones are created.

Search queries and document-readiness results are processed on the device for the current use of those features. The App does not use them for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

The current version does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, authentication, social-login, push-notification, payment, mapping, or developer-operated cloud-storage SDKs. It does not collect advertising identifiers, Android ID, location, contacts, call or SMS information, camera or microphone recordings, browsing history, or a list of installed apps. No code in the current App transmits device identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, or document content to Abwine LTD.

DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND USER-SELECTED ACCESS

The App does not request Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, notification, or broad device-storage permission.

When you choose an import or insert feature, Android's system picker lets you select a specific text file or image. The App reads only the item you select for that action. When you tap the clipboard-import feature, the App reads the current clipboard item and creates a document from non-blank text. The App can also receive text that you intentionally send through Android's Share or Process Text actions. These actions do not provide the App with general access to all files or all content held by another app.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

The App uses the information described above only to provide functions you request: creating, editing, formatting, autosaving, searching, favoriting, duplicating, and restoring documents; maintaining local revision history; importing text; embedding an image or handwritten signature; checking a document for incomplete content; creating a PDF; and sending that PDF to an Android save location, print service, or sharing destination selected by you.

The App does not use your information for advertising, cross-app tracking, marketing, data brokerage, or automated decisions about you. We do not sell user data.

LOCAL STORAGE, BACKUP, AND DEVICE TRANSFER

Document records and revision history are stored in a Room database in the App's private storage. Copied images, signature images, and internally generated PDF files used for printing or sharing are also stored in app-private directories. Android normally prevents other apps from directly reading these private locations.

The App is configured to allow its database to participate in Android cloud backup and Android device-to-device transfer. If backup is enabled on your device and a compatible backup transport is available, the Android system may copy the App's database off the device and later restore it. The database can contain document titles and text, revision text, timestamps, favorites, template and formatting choices, and local references to images and signatures. The App's configured backup rules select the database only; the copied image files, signature image files, and internally generated PDF files in the App's private file directories are not selected by those rules.

Android, rather than Abwine LTD, performs backup and device transfer using the backup transport active on your device. On many Google Play-enabled devices, Google provides the cloud backup transport. Availability, storage location, retention, restoration, and security of a backup depend on your device, account, operating-system version, manufacturer, and backup provider settings. You can manage device backup through the backup controls offered by your device and account provider.

SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Abwine LTD does not operate a server that receives App content, and the App does not transmit information to us. The App's software dependencies provide Android user-interface, lifecycle, navigation, local database, and other on-device functionality; we found no behavior in the current release that sends App data to those library providers.

Information can leave the App only through Android functions or destinations that you choose, or through Android backup and device transfer as described above.

Google Play, Android, a device manufacturer, or another platform operator may independently process app-store activity, downloads and updates, security information, or platform-level diagnostics under its own terms and privacy policy. This platform processing is separate from the App's document-handling code and is not used by the App for advertising or profiling.

When you save a PDF, the App writes it to the location or storage provider selected through Android's system document interface. When you print, the App provides the generated PDF and document title to the Android print framework and the print service you select. When you share, the App gives the selected receiving app temporary read access to the generated PDF through a non-exported Android FileProvider. A receiving app, print service, storage provider, cloud account, or backup transport handles information under its own terms and privacy practices. Review those practices before sending a document that contains personal or sensitive information.

The App does not control, access, or delete copies retained by a destination after you export, print, or share a document.

DATA RETENTION

Current document records remain in the local database until you delete the document in the App, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App. Up to 20 revision records per document are retained; older revisions are removed automatically as the limit is exceeded. Deleting a document removes its database record and associated revision history from the active local database.

Removing an image or signature from a document, or deleting the document, removes its reference from the active document record but does not necessarily erase the previously copied image or signature file. Copied images, saved signature images, and internally generated PDF files used for print or share may remain in the App's private file storage until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.

PDF files that you save outside the App and copies sent to print or sharing destinations remain until you delete them from the selected location or service. Their retention is controlled by you and the applicable destination provider.

Android-managed backup copies may remain and may be restored according to the settings and retention practices of the active backup provider. Deleting a document from the active database does not guarantee immediate deletion from a previously created backup. You can use your device or account backup settings, where available, to manage stored backups and restoration.

Because Abwine LTD does not receive App content or maintain user accounts, we do not retain a server-side copy of your documents or other App data.

DATA SECURITY

The App limits its data handling to the functionality described in this policy. It stores working data in Android app-private storage, does not request Internet permission, uses Android's system pickers for user-selected files, and uses a non-exported FileProvider with a temporary read grant when you choose to share a PDF.

Security also depends on your device lock, operating system, backup configuration, and the storage, print, or sharing services you choose. Once you export or share information, the receiving location or service controls its protection. No storage or transfer method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

YOUR CHOICES, DATA REQUESTS, AND DELETION

You control what text, images, and signatures you add and whether to use clipboard import, file import, Android Share or Process Text, backup, export, print, or sharing features.

You can remove an image or signature reference from the document editor. You can delete a document from within the editor; this deletes the document record and its revision history from the active local database. As explained in DATA RETENTION, related private files may remain until you clear App storage or uninstall the App.

To remove all active local App data and private files, use Android settings to clear Formiva Document Maker's storage or uninstall Formiva Document Maker. Manage any Android backup separately through your device or account backup settings. Delete exported PDFs from the locations where you saved them, and contact any print, storage, or sharing provider regarding copies it controls.

There is no Formiva Document Maker account to delete. Because App data is not sent to Abwine LTD, we cannot view, retrieve, correct, or remotely delete the local or backup copy on your behalf. You may contact us at the email below with a privacy question, but please do not email documents or sensitive content unless it is necessary for your request.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Formiva Document Maker is a general-purpose document editor and is not designed specifically for children. The App does not create user accounts, show advertising, perform analytics, or send document content or device data to Abwine LTD. If a child uses the App, document content remains subject to the same local storage, Android backup, export, print, and sharing practices described in this policy.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or our data practices change. We will post the updated policy and revise the effective date above.
