InsideU Privacy Policy and Account Deletion

InsideU is a private friend-circle app for invite-only circles, anonymous positive voting, Mirror scores, Aura, Missions, Signals, Weekly Awards, Premium unlocks, and safe personal growth.

Data We May Collect
InsideU may store nickname, avatar color, optional birth year, optional school, university, or work text, circle membership, votes, Mirror scores, Missions, unlocks, subscription status, analytics events, crash reports, advertising identifiers, and push notification tokens.

How We Use Data
We use this data to run private circles, calculate Mirror and Evolution results, save Missions, unlock Premium or rewarded content, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and send notifications the user allows.

Anonymous Voting and Safety
Votes are anonymous in the app. Voter identity is never shown to other users. InsideU has no public feed, no public discovery, no public ranking, and uses positive template content with safe mode for users under 18.

Service Providers
InsideU may use Supabase for backend data, RevenueCat for subscriptions, AdMob for rewarded ads, Firebase/PostHog for analytics, Sentry for crash reporting, and Expo for push notifications.

User Controls
Users can leave circles, block or report users, sign out, and delete their account from the Profile screen.

Account Deletion
To delete your account in the app:
1. Open InsideU.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Choose Delete Account.
4. Confirm deletion.

If you cannot access the app, request deletion by email:

Please include the nickname or account identifier you used in InsideU. Do not send passwords or sensitive documents.

Data Deleted
Account/profile data, circle memberships, user mission progress, unlocks, and user-owned app data are deleted or anonymized where required to protect anonymous voting and other users' privacy.

Data We May Retain
We may retain minimal records needed for legal, fraud prevention, payment, security, crash reporting, or abuse prevention obligations. Retained records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
