# Executable Epistemology Is a Subset of the Four Axioms "Executable Epistemology" (philsci, 2026) — the claim that a theory of understanding must be executable, realized as a structured cognitive loop — independently arrives at the operational core of structural cognition. That is convergence, and it is welcome. But "executable" is only the first of the four axioms made operational. The full axiomatization requires three more: coupling (novelty emerges only across coupled structures, not within one loop), observer self-reference (the position that sees is part of what is seen), and decoherence into discrete steps (structure becomes observable through a staircase, not a smooth loop). Executable Epistemology makes structural cognition operational; it does not yet make it complete. A loop is one projection. The four axioms are the whole.
