PRIVACY POLICY FOR DRIVEBRIEF: CAR CONCERNS

Abwine LTD ("we," "us," or "our") provides the DriveBrief: Car Concerns Android application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, stores, uses, and shares, and the choices available to you.

INFORMATION WE HANDLE

Information you provide

The App lets you enter vehicle details and your own notes about vehicle concerns, occurrences, shop visits, follow-up observations, odometer readings, conditions, questions, and invoice or shop wording. This content is stored locally on your device. The App does not require an account and does not upload this content to Abwine LTD.

Information collected automatically

The App does not include advertising, analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, tracking, authentication, or cloud-sync SDKs. It does not collect device identifiers, Advertising ID, location, contacts, payment information, or usage analytics. Android and Google Play may independently process technical information under their own terms when you download or use apps; that processing is not performed by DriveBrief.

Device permissions and sensitive access

DriveBrief does not request dangerous Android runtime permissions. Export, import, and sharing use Android system document and sharing interfaces. You choose the destination app, file provider, or storage location. A destination you select may process the information you send under its own privacy terms.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

The App uses locally stored information only to provide its on-device functions: organizing vehicles and concerns, displaying occurrence timelines, preparing a fact-only shop-visit brief from the information you entered, recording follow-up observations, and creating or restoring an export file at your direction.

SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

DriveBrief does not automatically transmit or share your App content with Abwine LTD, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties. Information leaves the App only when you deliberately choose an Android sharing or document destination. We do not operate a backend for the App and do not receive the destination data.

DATA RETENTION

App records remain in local app-private storage until you delete them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Android normally removes app-private data when the App is uninstalled. Export files and briefs you intentionally save or share are controlled by you and may remain in the selected storage location or destination after App data is removed.

DATA SECURITY

DriveBrief relies on Android's app sandbox and app-private storage to separate its working data from other apps. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for DriveBrief data. No method of local storage is risk-free, and you are responsible for protecting access to your device and any files or briefs you export or share.

YOUR CHOICES, DATA REQUESTS, AND DELETION

You can review, edit, and delete records in the App. You can remove all App-private information by using Android's Clear storage control or uninstalling the App. You control whether to export, import, or share a brief and which destination receives it. Because DriveBrief has no accounts or Abwine LTD backend, there is no server account or server-held App content for us to delete. To remove exported copies, delete them from each storage location or third-party destination where you placed them.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

DriveBrief is designed as a general utility for adult vehicle owners and is not directed to children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an Abwine LTD service because it has no account, analytics, advertising, or backend data collection.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or our data practices change. We will post the updated policy and revise the effective date above. Material App behavior changes will be reflected in the policy made available through the App and its Google Play listing.
