### Liminal Time Privacy Policy

Liminal Time is developed by Jiayuan Li. The app provides celestial clocks, focus timers, ambient sound and a personal record of completed journeys. No account is required. Its core features work on your device without a developer-operated server. We do not upload your app history to our servers, use advertising identifiers, or include advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

### Information stored on your device

Liminal Time saves the information needed to remember your experience: language and display preferences, sound and reminder settings, chosen worlds and saved viewpoints, saved scenes and names, focus itineraries and names, current timer state, completed journey dates and durations, visit and immersion totals, achievements, and weekly constellation information derived from your journeys. The app also keeps local migration or recovery copies of stored history to help avoid losing records during updates or recovery. These are local app records, not information sent to the developer.

The app and its own widget extension share a limited local copy of timer state through an Apple App Group. This allows widgets to show the current world, timer and stage, and offer timer controls. Widget preferences are also stored locally. This shared storage does not provide other developers' apps with access to your history.

### Motion, sound and notifications

Device motion is used while the relevant visual effect is active to make the background respond to the phone's tilt. Motion readings are processed on the device and are not saved as a motion history or transmitted to us. Ambient sounds play from files bundled with the app; the app does not record the microphone or analyse your surroundings. Night drift controls sound and display settings; it does not measure your sleep or collect health information.

If you enable reminders, iOS may ask for notification permission. Timer reminders are scheduled locally. Notifications, widgets and Live Activities may display the world, remaining time or completion information on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. You can control notifications, previews and Live Activities through the relevant iOS settings. No remote push-notification server is used for these features.

### Images, videos and Photos

Journey postcards, weekly constellation cards and journey videos are created locally. Exported content can include the selected world, dates and focus durations. Review the content before sharing; video exports offer a statistics switch, and weekly cards offer a choice about showing dates.

Opening the system share sheet does not automatically publish anything. When you choose a destination or complete a save action, iOS passes the selected image or video to that app, service or location. The recipient then handles the copy under its own settings and policies. Liminal Time does not upload it to a developer-operated service.

If you choose to save an image or video to Photos, iOS may ask for permission to add it. Liminal Time does not request access to browse or read your existing photo library. Photos saved this way can sync through iCloud Photos if you have enabled it. Temporary export files may remain in the app's local cache until the app or iOS removes them.

### Backups, retention and your choices

Liminal Time has no app-managed cloud account or cross-device history sync. However, Apple or a computer can include app data in backups or device transfers, depending on your system settings. These copies are controlled by those systems; the developer does not receive them. Apple explains [what iCloud Backup includes](https://support.apple.com/en-us/108770).

Saved preferences and history remain locally to support later use. You can change settings and delete saved scenes or itineraries with their in-app controls. To remove the app's local data, use iOS's Delete App option; simply offloading the app retains its documents and data. Previously exported images or videos, recipient copies and system backups must be managed separately. Restoring a backup can restore saved app data. The developer cannot retrieve or erase history that remains only on your device or in your own backups.

### External links and contacting us

The app includes links to its privacy policy and asset sources. Opening one takes you to an external website, which may receive ordinary web request information, such as your IP address, according to its own policy.

If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request. Contact Jiayuan Li at **jyli0924@163.com** with privacy questions. Do not send your private journey history unless you want to include it in your support request.

We will update this policy when the app's data practices change and revise the date above.

App 与它自己的小组件扩展会通过 Apple App Group 共享一份有限的本地计时状态，让小组件显示当前天体、计时和阶段，并提供计时控制。小组件偏好也保存在本机。这种共享不会向其他开发者的 App 开放你的历史记录。

### 设备运动、声音与提醒

相关视觉效果启用时，App 会使用设备运动数据，让背景随手机倾斜产生视差。运动读数只在本机处理，不保存为运动历史，也不传给我们。环境声景来自 App 随附的音频文件；App 不录制麦克风，也不分析周围声音。「睡前航行」用于调整声音和显示，不监测睡眠，也不收集健康信息。

启用提醒时，iOS 可能会请求通知权限。计时提醒在本机安排。通知、小组件和实时活动可能在主屏幕或锁定屏幕显示天体、剩余时间或完成信息。你可以在相应的 iOS 设置中管理通知、预览内容和实时活动。这些功能不使用远程推送服务器。

### 图片、视频与相册

航行纪念卡、每周星座卡片和动态旅程视频都在本机生成。导出内容可能包含所选天体、日期和专注时长，请在分享前检查内容。视频可选择是否包含统计信息，每周卡片可选择是否显示日期。

打开系统分享面板不会自动发布内容。当你选择分享目标或完成保存操作时，iOS 会把所选图片或视频交给对应的 App、服务或位置；对方随后按照自己的设置和政策处理该副本。Liminal Time 不会将其上传到开发者运营的服务。

如果你选择把图片或视频存入相册，iOS 可能会请求添加权限。Liminal Time 不请求浏览或读取现有照片图库的权限。如果你启用了 iCloud 照片，保存的内容可能由系统同步。临时导出文件可能保留在 App 的本地缓存中，直到 App 或 iOS 将其清理。

### 备份、保留与管理
