# Schrödinger's Cat Doesn't Exist. He Counted Wrong. In 1935, Schrödinger counted 4 objects in the box: cat, atom, poison, detector. Then he asked: is the cat both dead and alive? Count the box first. Structural addition: 4 objects implies C(4,2)=6 pairwise relations. Total system = 4 + 6 = **10 elements**. Not 4. Using "4" to describe a 10-element system, the missing 6 leak out as "uncertainty." **Superposition = information deficit.** You lack the information of 6 relations — the cat is not literally both dead and alive. Opening the box is not "wavefunction collapse" — it is a discrete expansion from n=4 (10 elements) to n=5 (15 elements), a step-jump of structural addition. Physical superposition and epistemic uncertainty are the SAME thing — counting deficit at different magnitudes. Quantum superposition is just a larger deficit.
