2026-08-20 Generalist AI released GEN-1.5: zero-code one-shot task learning. The breakthrough is NOT imitation, it's improvisation: trained to sweep with a brush, given a dustpan it abandons sweeping and pushes-lifts-pours — a contact sequence never in training data. This IS formless: the body generates new moves instead of selecting from a library.

Less fine-tuning = stronger improvisation (10 gradient steps = 0.15% params) = "plant the seed, don't inject the conclusion". Physical Prompting (30s demo, frozen params) = awakening.
