PRIVACY POLICY FOR DIALATLAS COUNTRY CODES Effective date: August 27, 2026 Abwine LTD ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Android application "DialAtlas Country Codes," localized in Russian as "DialAtlas: коды стран" and identified by the package name com.abwine.dialatlas.codes (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is used and stored, when information can leave the App at your request, and the choices available to you. INFORMATION WE HANDLE Information you enter or select The App lets you enter an international phone number or number fragment for on-device country-code analysis, enter catalog search text, select countries for comparison and Travel Card features, mark countries as favorites, open country records, and answer quiz questions. Phone-number text may be personal information depending on what you enter. The App processes this text locally and does not send it to Abwine LTD or to a server. You do not need to provide a name, email address, account credentials, contacts, address book, payment information, or other profile information to use the App. The App does not create user accounts. If you contact Abwine LTD by email, we receive the email address, message content, and any other information you choose to include. Email correspondence occurs outside the App. We use it to respond to your inquiry or privacy request. Information handled automatically on the device The App reads the device's configured locale or region, current time, and time-zone information through Android system APIs to choose a default comparison country and calculate local times and time differences. The App does not use GPS or other location services, and it does not infer or track your physical location. The analyzed release does not automatically collect or transmit device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, diagnostics, crash reports, analytics, or usage data. It contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, authentication, or remote-storage SDK and does not declare the Android INTERNET permission. Local preferences and temporary screen state The App stores the following preferences in its private Android SharedPreferences storage: - country ISO codes for favorites; - country ISO codes for up to 12 recently opened countries; - the ISO code of the selected Travel Card destination; and - the saved best quiz streak. The entered phone-number text, catalog search text, and current screen selections can remain temporarily in the App's user-interface state so Android can restore the current screen after events such as rotation or process recreation. Phone-number text is not written to the App's persistent SharedPreferences. Android backup and device transfer The App enables Android backup and device-to-device transfer for its SharedPreferences. If backup is enabled on your device, Android or your device's backup provider may copy the saved favorites, recent-country list, Travel Card destination, and quiz record to private backup storage associated with your device account and may restore them to this or another device. Abwine LTD does not operate this backup service and does not receive or have access to those backups. Backup availability, security, retention, and deletion are controlled by Android, the device manufacturer, the backup provider, and your account settings. DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND SYSTEM FEATURES The analyzed release requests no dangerous or runtime Android permissions. In particular, it does not request access to contacts, call logs, SMS, phone state, precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, files or media, notifications, or direct phone calling. It also does not request Internet access. A package-specific signature permission may appear in the merged manifest as part of AndroidX's internal component protection. It does not provide access to personal or sensitive device data. The App uses permission-free Android system features only after you choose the related action: - Tapping "Dial" sends the displayed number to the system dialer using Android's ACTION_DIAL interface. The App does not place the call itself. The selected dialer receives the number and handles it under its own privacy practices. - Tapping "Share" sends the country or Travel Card text shown by the App to the Android share chooser. Only the app you select receives that text, and the recipient app handles it under its own privacy practices. - Tapping "Copy" writes the selected code, number, or text to the Android system clipboard. The App does not read the clipboard. Android, other apps, or device synchronization features may handle clipboard contents according to your device settings and their own privacy practices. HOW WE USE INFORMATION Information handled by the App is used only to: - search and display the packaged country, calling-code, time-zone, currency, and emergency-number reference data; - analyze and format the phone-number text you enter locally on your device; - remember favorites, recent countries, the Travel Card destination, and the quiz record; - calculate local times and country comparisons from system time, time-zone, and locale information; - prepare the specific number or text you choose to dial, copy, or share; and - respond to messages you send to the privacy contact address. The App does not use information for advertising, profiling, tracking across apps or websites, sale, or automated decisions about you. SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS The App does not automatically send App data to Abwine LTD or share App data with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or social networks. A social or messaging app receives content only if you deliberately select it from the Android share chooser. The App uses AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and Kotlin coroutines as local application libraries. It also contains static calling-code data derived from Google's open-source libphonenumber metadata. These components are packaged with the App for local operation and are not configured to transmit user data. Information can leave the App through Android backup or device transfer, the system dialer, the system clipboard, or an app selected from the share chooser, as described above. These services and recipient apps are independent of Abwine LTD. Information sent by email is also processed by the email services used by you and Abwine LTD. DATA RETENTION Favorites remain until you remove them or erase the App's data. The recent-country list retains up to 12 country ISO codes and replaces older entries as new countries are opened. The Travel Card destination remains until you select another country or erase the App's data. The best quiz streak remains until the App's data is erased. These values can also remain in Android backup or device-transfer storage for as long as the applicable backup provider retains them. Phone-number and search text is retained only in temporary user-interface state needed to operate or restore the current screen. It is discarded when that state is no longer retained by the App or Android. If you copy, dial, or share content, the receiving system feature or app determines its own retention. We retain privacy and support email correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document the request or to meet applicable legal obligations. DATA SECURITY Persistent preferences are stored in the App's private storage and protected by the Android application sandbox. The App does not add application-level encryption to these preference values. The absence of Internet permission and network SDKs limits the App's ability to transmit data from the device. Android backup data and content sent to another app are protected and handled by the relevant operating-system feature, backup provider, or recipient app rather than by Abwine LTD. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You should avoid entering, copying, dialing, sharing, or emailing information that is not needed for the action you intend to perform, and you should protect access to your device and device account. YOUR CHOICES, DATA REQUESTS, AND DELETION You can use the reference catalog, comparison, Travel Card, and quiz features without entering a phone number. You control whether to tap Dial, Copy, or Share and which external app receives content through Android's chooser. You can remove individual favorites in the App and replace the selected Travel Card destination. To delete all locally stored App preferences and temporary state, use Android Settings to clear the App's storage/data or uninstall the App. The exact settings path varies by device and Android version. Clearing local App data or uninstalling the App may not immediately delete a backup already maintained by Android or another backup provider. You can disable backup or manage stored backups through your device, account, or backup-provider settings, subject to the controls offered by that provider. Because the App has no accounts and sends no App data to servers operated by Abwine LTD, there is no App account or server-side App profile for us to delete. The App does not create accounts, show ads, include social features, or transmit personal information to Abwine LTD. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us by email, contact us at buchinn4@gmail.com so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable requirements, or our data practices change.
