This Privacy Policy applies to the browser extension OpenClaw Browser Relay for Windows (the "Extension").

What the Extension does

The Extension attaches to user-selected Chrome tabs and bridges Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) traffic to a local OpenClaw relay endpoint running on the same machine.

Data the Extension accesses

• Active tab and attached tab metadata needed for CDP attach/detach.
• Browser page runtime/debugging events required for automation relay.
• Local settings entered by the user: relay port and gateway token.

Where data is processed

• http://127.0.0.1:*
• http://localhost:*
• ws://127.0.0.1:*

The Extension does not include built-in calls to developer-operated remote analytics servers.

Storage

• chrome.storage.local: relay port, gateway token, one-time help flag.
• chrome.storage.session: temporary attached-tab/session state.

Data sharing and sale

• The Extension does not sell personal data.
• The Extension does not use accessed data for advertising.
• The Extension does not transfer accessed data to data brokers.

Security

Users are responsible for securing their local OpenClaw gateway token and machine access.

Third-party services

The Extension itself only connects to local OpenClaw relay endpoints. Any onward processing by local OpenClaw services is governed by those services and provider policies.

This policy may be updated as the Extension evolves. The date above will be revised when changes are made.
