LocalScan PDF Privacy Policy

LocalScan PDF is an offline document scanning and PDF utility for iPhone and iPad. The app does not require an account, does not contain advertising, does not use analytics, and does not upload scanned documents or OCR text to a server.

Scanned images, generated PDF files, thumbnails, OCR text, folders, and document metadata are stored locally on the user's device unless the user chooses to share or export them using iOS system sharing features.

The app may request camera access for document scanning, photo library access for importing images, and Face ID permission for future local privacy protection features. These permissions are used only on device.

Data collection: LocalScan PDF does not collect personal data, diagnostics, location, contacts, browsing data, identifiers, usage analytics, or tracking data.
