# FlashMorph — Privacy Policy Last updated: October 13, 2026 ## Introduction FlashMorph processes selected photos locally and does not upload them. The app also uses Google Mobile Ads, which collects and shares some device and advertising data. This Privacy Policy explains these practices. ## Data Collection FlashMorph does not upload selected photos, face landmarks, or generated videos. The Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. This SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Details: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure ### Photos and Videos - Photos you select or capture are processed **entirely on your device**. - No photos, biometric data, or generated videos are uploaded to any server. - Generated files are stored in app cache until Android removes them or you clear the app's storage in Android Settings. - If you choose to share a generated video, Android sends it to the app you select. That app's own privacy policy then applies. ### Face Data - Face detection is performed **on-device** using Google ML Kit. - No facial recognition data, biometric templates, or face landmarks are stored or transmitted. - Face detection results exist only in device memory during processing and are discarded immediately after use. ### Device and Advertising Data - Google Mobile Ads may collect device/account identifiers and IP address, which may be used for general location estimation, advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. - The SDK may collect app launches, taps, ad views, and diagnostic information. ## Permissions FlashMorph requests the following permissions: - **Camera**: To capture a selfie for transformation. Used only when you tap "Take Selfie." - **Photo picker**: Android's system picker lets you select a photo without granting broad access to your photo library. - **Older Android versions**: Android may request write access when you choose to save a generated video to the gallery. No permission is requested without first showing a Data Safety disclosure dialog explaining why the permission is needed. ## Advertising FlashMorph uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and rewarded ads. The SDK collects and shares the data described above for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. See Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy You can reset your advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads. ## Third-Party Services - **Google ML Kit (Face Detection)**: Runs entirely on-device. No data is sent to Google. - **Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)**: Serves ads. Subject to Google's privacy policy. - **FFmpeg**: Open-source multimedia processing library. Runs locally. ## Children's Privacy FlashMorph is not designed specifically for children. The app includes advertising; its Play Store audience and content rating must be set accurately in Google Play Console. ## Data Safety - Selected photos and generated videos are processed locally and stored in the app's cache; Android may clear temporary files. - Google Mobile Ads data is transmitted to Google over TLS and handled under Google's privacy and retention practices. ## Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
