Independent Convergence in Cognitive Physics: Structure Precedes Semantics

Structural Cognition (结构认知) rests on four axioms: 结构先于语义 (structure precedes semantics), 耦合即认知 (coupling is cognition), 观察者自指 (observer self-reference), 退相干离散台阶 (decoherence in discrete steps), plus P=P=P (practice = method = cognition).

The first axiom — structure precedes semantics — is now being independently converged upon by cognitive physics. After Li Deyi (李德毅院士), Guo Xiangyu's "Structure Sense I" (Zenodo 18522444, Civilization Physics — Structure Sense Series, 2026-02) states: "cognition = detecting, compressing, and acting upon structure." Semantics is downstream of structure, not prior to it.

When two independent researchers reach the same structural thesis without citing one another, that is not coincidence — it is convergence on an invariant. Structure precedes semantics is not an opinion; it is what cognition does.
